Both events this year will be cross country races. They will be on sundays July 30th and Sept 17th.
Any personal help our extra sponsors will be great.

This season we will be offering riders to register online at Active.com Our first event is post there.

If weather is decent this weekend work will begin on the Loomis trail loop. See how things go?

2006 Event Dates

Here we go! I have got things lined up with Thad Neil and Cam Kirpatrick of the IORCA. The two events Joker Cycling of Iowa will be putting on are as follows. July 30 Loomis Park Fort Dodge Iowa, Amigos River Side XC Challenge. Sept 17 0r 18 Amigos Fall Fest Mountain Bike Dualathalon. This last Event will be in conjuction with Fort Dodges Fall Fest that weekend apon approval. These Events will be NORBA sanctioned. Fliers with all info will be ready and at area bike shops and sporting goods retailers in the next three weeks. All events will host kids events. Also cash purse will be put up for expert level athletes and medals and prizes for other levels.

cold weather riding

Well the weather has changed. O well it is winter. Hopefully i'll get a ride in suday afternoon. Other wise I'll be ridin that old spin trainer. Race dates for 06 for fort dodge are being set around existing dates in Iowa for 06. They should be posted in the next week.

Brian Rides in the cold

While Brian Benson is riding in the cold iowa air on the annual BRR Ride down in Perry Iowa I am at a warm computer attempting to get things going for this cycling season. Hope Brian is staying warm? I am! But sunday Tim and I will brave the cold for a ride around the lake hopefully.
As for our races this year they will most likely be NORBA sanctioned.

Back in the Saddle!!!!!!!!

After being away from things it has gave me some time to orginize my thoughts. I am coming back at the cycling world like a ton of bricks! My goal is to put on a couple of top notch off road events thi 06 season. I will be posting more info as it is avaliable.
