Snow Bike Race????
The race went on as scheduled. At the begining the course looked to be very fast. As the temp went up the lap times slowed down. These guys and gals road on the edge today pushing their bodies and bikes to the farthest limits. The race took over two hours to finish! Many bikes & riders failed to finish. Mainly due to mechanical failures. We even had a frame break. What a day!
This is why I love this sport so.
Thanks to all who showed today and gave it there best.

Trail Holding Great
the trail is holding together just fine. The temps are going to be in the mid 30's so the trail should be somewhat firm. Over all it should be a very fast course. If anyone is looking to help with a race We could really use some help. Lt me know. matt 712-469-3923

Riding with the Big Dogs
Well today I talked to Sterling at Rassmussen Bike Shop in Des Moines. Looks like Brian Benson & I will be riding with their cycling team this year. I'm really looking forward to that. They have a really powerful group of racers and hopefully I may learn a few new things to improve on my cycling..
