Race

Well the course set up went great and the course was in pretty decent shape. Turn out was low but we had a great time. Brian, Tim, Brandon and I cleaned up the course in record time. Tim tried to kill me on the fourwheeler, but I survived.
The next race is in Feb. 10th and March 3rd More to come inthe near future.

Lets Race

Weather is cold.
But it is Jan. so lets race. The race in the morning begins at 11am reg. is from9:00 til 10:30 awards will follow race with some food.
Hope to see everyone there. Also Tim Volf will be back and on hand for comic relief.

Race outlook Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cold and snowin. Just perfect for racing. Tim and I will be setting setting up the course at 7a.m. Sat. Registration is at 9to 10:30a.m.

Upcoming Race

Well the 13th is the first snow bike race. we are watching the weather conditions. The course at this time is very wet. not realy ridable. I will going on the trails monday to check things out.

New trail add ons for 2007

That's right it's almost 2007. I've been working on a few ideas for trails in both Oleson and Loomis.
First in Oleson will be a 1500 to 2000ft loop behind the pool area in the timber. Our Sept. 16th race will be staged from the pool area and timed from behind the pool in the open shelter. This will make the playground more accessable for the kids and the use off the bathrooms and shower in the pool area for all. Also parking will be right up front.
Then in Loomis Park I am working with the city on a reconection plan of the upper Loomis trail. This section will take you from the south end of Loomis by Amigos in to the park on a sweet piece of single track with an awesome view from the top.

Another Mild Day

Going to be a warmer than normal this weekend. What better to do than take advantage of it.
Do a nice size trail run this morning maybe some last minute Christmas shopping and then I am going on a night ride with Tiny Tim.

Iowa City Ridin

Well the temps are supose to be in the 50's today and sunday. What better to do than get in some riding on the trails. The single speed is ready to go. Just waitingfor the sun to rise up.
